Using and Applying Math's Games

Year 6 Design and Invent their own Maths Games
As an after S.A.T.s activity Year 6 have been designing their own maths games. Some were twists on popular games like Monopoly and Cluedo and some were original ideas, which worked equally as well. We had to write a set of instructions for our games - the clearer the instructions were, the easier the game was. We had access to all kinds of materials and also brought some from home. We painted, cut, colored, drew, modeled and measured to complete the transformation from a chunk of cardboard to a fully-functioning maths game.We had a series of days to complete these games and every one turned out brilliantly.
