Today we enjoyed a day of Secondary School learning at New Rickstones School in Witham. In resistant materials we had the opportunity to use a coping saw to cut jigsaw shapes out of MDF. During our media sessions we used keywords to improve our research skills and then used google slides to create a presentation with a partner. Our art experience involved us in designing and decorating a door or wall plaque which we were able to take home. Whilst 6L eagerly made crumpet pizzas with a choice of ham, pineapple and cheese toppings, 6T entered into the fascinating world of maths: learning about the Fibonacci sequence and how it occurs all around us.
We learnt so many new things today and all of us appreciated the experience.
