Mrs. Wilson's WW2 talk

On Tuesday afternoon a lady who was born in WW2, called Mrs. Wilson, came in  to show us some artifacts and pictures.She was 5 years old when the war ended and she was very interesting to listen to. Mrs. Wilson told us many facts.One of them was when it was your birthday you didn't get birthdays cards you got birthday themed postcards. Also if a house was bombed then people's belongings would be scattered all over the streets and gardens.

She was showing us that her dad was a police officer and this helmet
saved his life from shrapnel.

  We really enjoyed the experience and hope she comes in again.
