Representatives from N.A.F.I.R. have been interviewing the Year 6 working parties this week regarding their ideas for a new planet for humans to live on. The working parties had to present their logos and mission statements. Each presentation needed to include: plans of the planets; habitats including natural geographical features and food webs/classification keys for each habitat.
Ideas for new settlements also need to be explained including whether they were dispersed, nuclear or linear in style.
The N.A.F.I.R.representatives were very impressed by the quality of the presentations and the link between the Science and Geographical learning.
