No Spelling this Week - Assessment Week (7th December)

We are having our end-of-term assessments this week for Reading, Writing, Maths, SPaG (Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar).

Your child will be able to tell you their new level colour by the end of term when they break up. We will ask them to write this in their home-school logs.

Reminder:

• A child that is working on the expected learning objectives for their year group, appropriately for the time of the academic year, will be GREEN, will receive challenge and is ready for, and has the skills to access, the next stage of their learning journey.

• A child that is working on the term or year group learning objectives above their year group, appropriately for the time of the academic year, will be BLUE and will receive advanced challenge. 

• A child that is working on the term or year group learning objectives below their year group, appropriately for the time of the academic year, will be AMBER and will receive class based differentiated support and be expected to catch up within an academic year.

• A child that is working more than one stage below their expected year group learning objectives will be RED and will receive class based differentiated support, additional SEN support and will be expected to catch up by the end of the key stage.
