We are
taking part in the annual survey for the RSPB (Big Schools’ Birdwatch). We
chose Thursday, a beautiful, sunny afternoon, for our ‘twitchers’ to go out on
to the school grounds with binoculars, clipboard and bird identification chart
in hand. Luckily we managed to find some quiet locations to observe from and we
were surprised at how many varieties we were able to spot.
