Dover Castle . . .
For today's excursion, the children visited Dover and had a look around the castle which was built (in its current design) in the 1180s. The children explored the castle; engaged with the role play resources and looked at the view from the top of the keep. Later, some groups visited the Princess of Wales' Royal Regiment Museum. Towards the end of the trip, the children had a look around a WWI command post and tried out different forms of communication such as Morse Code. Mr Faithfull
