We have produced presentations on our homework which was about our topic of WW2. We have rewards for the winners but everyone has put in 100 percent.
In assembly, we learnt that many people have endurance in different aspects of learning- such as Matthew who is good at drumming however not as strong in football. For example Ethan is very good at football however he isn't as strong as Matthew at music. The moral - levels of endurance needed vary for different people depending on the activity.
In music, we have created some songs that we thought could have been used in WW2. We used percussion instruments to help us create our songs; we performed these in groups of 3 in front of the class.
In knitting, we learnt the basics of how to knit. We learnt this from knitting experts who helped us to create rabbits. At first, most people struggled because we did not have any experience of knitting; we persevered to create our rabbits.
In PE, we played netball matches that we thoroughly enjoyed. As we did not have enough space, if we weren't playing, we practiced shooting with Mr Barnes.
As we are learning about WW2, we trained to be soldiers. This included going across different apparatus like an assault course in a race. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed this as it was a particularly fun activity.
For the children who completed their numeracy homework in 6F, they enjoyed playing on the trolleys as a reward.
