On Tuesday, we completed a carousel of activities about the Blitz for the last week of our WWII topic.
We learnt about air-raid shelters and built our own using Lego. We also looked at the damage created by the bombs; drew pictures for our newspaper report; used drama to collect quotes and researched to find out more details for what happened.
On Thursday, a lady came in and taught us about internet safety. There where many ways that she told us to keep us safe on the internet.
A couple of members of our class prepared our last coding lesson for us all about a radar to link with our WW2 topic. It also looked at how submarines use radars to detect enemy U- Boats and ships.
During our last science lesson, we made our own electrical circuits using LEDs.
On Friday, we completed another carousel of activities about code breaking. We learnt about naval sea coordinates, Caesar Ciphers, Morse Code and shipping alphabet flags. We also used junk modelling to build our own Enigma machine which was really fun.
