Aladdin Art

Inspired by our topic of Disney's Aladdin, we have created magic carpets using a wax resist technique. Thinking about positive and negative space, we designed symmetrical patterns drawn in wax crayon and then, using a large brush, we added a wash of watercolour paint.

We have also started to create a fabric magic carpet using the art of batik which will be adorned with tassels we have hand made using wool.
